Law Internship Reference – Victoria, Qingdao

Name: Victoria Rudolph
Nationality: British
Destination: Qingdao
Accommodation: Apartment
Programme details: 2 months, Generation UK Programme
University: University of Nottingham
Year: 2016

Victoria was funded by the Generation UK programme to complete a 2 month Law internship in China.

“This will put me above the others with my [future job] applications. Everything we’ve done here is more or less what I’ll be doing in the UK: work placements, vacation schemes and, eventually, training contracts. So it’s got me in the mindset of work and has given me first hand experience of what’s to come.”

She decided to do her internship in the second tier, coastal city of Qingdao- which is famous worldwide for Tsingtao beer!

“This city is so much fun to live in. I mean, the people are really friendly, the culture is really nice and the climate is goood- it’s not too polluted, it’s not too hot!”
