Role: Venture Development Intern (m/w/x)
Internship Description:
What the Host Company are looking for;
As Venture Development Intern you will work closely with the co-founders and Chief of Staff on the most pressing topics to build up the startup.
Candidates are expected to bring an entrepreneurial mindset and to take end-to-end responsibility on a variety of topics across product, strategy, and operations. You will be a fully-fletched part of the team for 3-6 months – depending on your availability.

Your responsibilities;
Founders’ right hand:
You will work closely with the founders on setting up core operations and scaling the company. You will be responsible for different strategic topics with the overarching goal of finding the best means for the company to grow. With top talents being a priority, you will also support the Chief of Staff in the talent acquisition process.
Product and GTM:
You will support the product team in improving both service offerings and the customer experience across touchpoints. You will assist in achieving the product roadmap, defining new processes, implementing customer feedback, and planning the company’s go-to-market strategy.
Fundraising:
You will directly support the CEO in conversations with interested investors to secure funding and take a leading role in e.g., preparing pitch decks and financial models.
M&A and Greenfield growth:
You will support the COO to grow their practice network via both M&A transactions as well as build out new practices from scratch. You will assist in the end-to-end process of sourcing practices and getting them up and running. You will support a variety of tasks such as identifying potential targets, driving due diligence processes, and preparing launch strategies.
Project management:
Support the overall implementation of the strategic roadmap, e.g., develop KPIs, drive our OKR (objective and key results) process together with the C-Level team, take a leading role in strategic initiatives managing and driving your own projects.
N.B. tasks and projects may vary depending on current priorities. Specific projects and responsibilities will be discussed during an interview.
Requirements:
Your skills and experience;
- You are currently studying at a renowned university or are pursuing a gap year and have a strong academic track record (top 25% of class).
- You already have first working experience in fast-growing startups or other fast-paced environments (e.g., consulting, investment banking, venture capital).
- You have a strong analytical but a simultaneously entrepreneurial mindset.
- You have a hands-on mentality, as well as enthusiasm to build things up from scratch.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English (German is a plus).
