Role: Social Media Marketing Executive
Internship Description:
The host company are looking for a strategic intern that has a positive attitude, is self-directed and wants to be part of their dynamic elite team.
The host organisation are looking for an intern who can;
- Work on social and digital Channel Engagement
- Manage and develop host company social network marketing channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, LinkedIn and others
- Conduct market searches and edit witty and branded articles on industrial trends to post on the company website and social networks
- Edit and refine host company quarterly reports and ensure E-Mail marketing campaigns are sent out on time
- Identify new social or digital media marketing methodology for brand building
- Contribute to host company NGO projects’ social media marketing
Administration:
- Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications and appropriately apply that knowledge to increase the use of company social media
- Coordinate with internal team and identify new areas for posting opportunities on social channels
- Develop a recording process for indexing social media posts that have been published
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Business with strong academic performance, Degree in Marketing preferred
- Strong interest in social media including Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong sense of responsibility, Proactive and Open-Minded
- Can work independently and be self-directed while maintaining a positive attitude and be able to manage and thrive under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills both spoken and written in English
