Internship Position:
Social Media and Community Advocate Internship
Internship Description:
- Create content strategy and content for social media posts (Blog posts, Posts, Graphics, Videos, etc.)
- Identify new channels and opportunities to find possible users
- Create/use social media channels to engage with potential users
- Create and distribute content such as blogs, infographics, videos, and press releases on social media and traditional news outlets
- Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability
- Support marketing team at live and online events
Internship Requirements:
- Motivation to regularly create quality, genuine content
- Creativity and drive, interest/passion in the education industry
- Currently enrolled in college or a recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in digital communications or a related field such as advertising, journalism or graphic design
- Impeccable oral and written communication skills
- Experience with major social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram
- Knowledge of social media analytics software, such as Facebook Insights to track audience engagement and campaign performance would be a plus
- Interested in social media trends
- Copywriting and editing skills
- Creativity
- Available to work at least 15-25 hours per week or more
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
