Role:
Social Media and Communications Intern
Internship Description:
Possible tasks and projects include:
- Assist with weekly scheduling, posting, and metric tracking for their social accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
- Assist with curating/editing the digital newsletter
- Help maintain and increase social media engagement with their audiences
- Update, maintain, and proof programming information for their website on a regular basis
- Work with festival panelists, sponsors, and partners to facilitate social media promotion for events & programming
- Provide general phone/email support for festival attendees, partners, and sponsors
N.B. tasks and projects may vary depending on current priorities. Specific projects and responsibilities will be discussed during an interview.
Internship Requirements:
- Have a strong interest in social media, and familiarity with basic posting features on all major social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
- Have basic knowledge of Adobe Creative suite (particularly Photoshop)
- Have an overall interest in / appreciation for television and communications!
- Be willing to brainstorm, collaborate, and problem-solve with fellow interns!
