In its 9.5 years of operation, the non-profit hosts and manages a broad spectrum of programs and events encompassing all genres of performance through partnerships and collaboration with local and international communities by providing a non-judgmental and inclusive listening culture.

Internship Description:

Possible tasks and projects include:

  • This internship is for individuals interested in working on a book project; doing interviews, transcribing, editing, and helping to collate all stories in a book
  • Applicants should be interested in writing and editing and be willing to study the Red Room culture through previous events and conversations with people
  • Interns can work on their own schedule but will need to submit a plan and report every week on their progress

N.B. tasks and projects may vary depending on current priorities. Specific projects and responsibilities will be discussed during an interview.

Internship Requirements:

  • Candidates should have an interest in culture and the performing arts, a flair for writing, and a facility with the English and/or Chinese language
  • They need to be self-organized in terms of achieving target goals
