Organisation Description:
The host company is implementing a project Free high-quality English course for people with difficult circumstances in Ho Chi Minh City. They are helping children living in shelters, and children’s villages to have the opportunity to enjoy English courses of high quality.
Furthermore, They encourage the youth to be involved in social work in remote areas by sponsoring volunteer campaigns by students in universities in Ho Chi Minh city. In the future, the team in Tanzania will implement an education project that helps children in a remote town access English courses. This project will support children to improve their ability in using English to complete the program at school properly.

Role:
Project Coordinator Intern
Internship Description:
Interns will have the opportunity to participate in the NGO’s free high-quality English class project in the following areas:
- Coordinate with the Admin team to manage the classroom operating system and the benefits of Teaching Volunteers
- Observe and support online and offline classes
- Contribute ideas, maintain quality, and expand classes
- Develop activities and programs in English for children
- Propose directions to support students with difficult circumstances
Communicative English teacher (For candidates with orientation or desire to teach English):
- Develop the content for communication classes, and extracurricular programs (Online or Offline)
- Collaborate with Vietnamese teachers to support students’ Listening – Speaking skills
- Monitor children’s development and assess their ability, advise how to improve skills for children
- Report to the Foundation on class quality and advise on quality improvement suggestions
- Facilitate English debate-club
- Cooperate with Vietnamese volunteers to design the activities for the English debate club
- Coordinate the activities to run the debate club effectively and in an appropriate manner
- Observe and make comments to improve the English of the participants
N.B. tasks and projects may vary depending on current priorities. Specific projects and responsibilities will be discussed during an interview.
Internship Requirements:
- Priority is given to students of the following degrees: English Language, Education, Social Work, Office Administration, or industries related to non-profit works
- Proficient in the use of office computer tools
- Able to flexibly arrange time since the project’s classes will take place in the evening of the week and 2 days on the weekend, interns will combine working in the office and working remotely
- Able to commute to train institutions, shelters, and youth villages with Offline classes
- Experience in supporting and working with children
- Enthusiastic in social work and implementing community activities
- Responsible, highly organized, and disciplined
- Pay attention to educational issues for vulnerable groups
- *Additional requirements for candidates who want to teach English:
– Be a student of English language or English Pedagogy in the 2nd year or higher with a GPA of 3.0 or higher (Or have a score of IELTS score of 6.5 or higher or a TOEIC score of 700 or higher)
