Operations Intern
Internship Description:

As an operations intern, you will be assisting other senior team members in a multitude of activities, ranging from sales and marketing to employee engagement and development.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
a) Process ImprovementÂ
Assist in the documentation of all current back office and in-store processes and propose improvements.
- Document and assist with the purchasing process, stock count, and warehouse management
- Generate and review operation-related, routine reports (e.g., Payable reports, Usage reports)
- Assist with sales forecasts and give recommendations
- Review and ensure write off, transfer entries are recorded correctly
- Assist with staff training
- Design internal newsletters to update staff with upcoming news and events
b)Â Sales Support
You will be collaborating with internal teams and vendors, and suppliers to carry out various sales-related activities. Additionally, you will be maintaining the accuracy of financial records, purchasing orders, stock requests, and information across all accounting and inventory systems.
- Maintain and update POS and inventory systems
- Assist with sales forecasts and give recommendations
- Assist in updating staff timesheet
- Work with external partners (food delivery platforms, e-commerce marketplaces, suppliers) to update menus, pricing, product information, etc.
- Assist in planning and execution of promotions to increase sales
- Seek new prospects for the catering services
- Assist in organising events and following up post-events
c)Â Learning & DevelopmentÂ
Work with Operations Manager and the management team to plan and execute programs, and activities to further develop their current teams and keep them up-to-date with changing regulations in the F&B industry.
- Assist in the monthly store audit and propose improvements
- Research and design training courses
- Organise and facilitate employee engagement activities
d)Â Marketing
Organise, execute and manage marketing campaigns for all stores.
- Plan and execute new F&B combos, promotions
- Organise POSM, events
- Write content for a website, blog, and social channels

Internship Requirements:
- A willingness to learn and grow
- Knowledge of F&B industry and/ or customer service
- A genuine passion for coffee and delighting customers
- Well-organized, detail and result-oriented, and able to multitask
- A proactive and adaptive team player
- Proficient in various computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite, inventory management, order fulfillment, etc.
- Comfortable with speaking and writing in English
