Marketing and Social Media Internship
Internship Description:
This Internship Host Company are seeking a Marketing and Social Media Intern to assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies and social media campaigns to promote their consulting firm’s services. The intern will be responsible for creating content for various social media platforms, managing social media accounts, and conducting market research to support marketing efforts.
- Develop and implement marketing and social media strategies to promote the company’s services
- Create engaging content for social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
- Manage social media accounts by scheduling posts, responding to comments, and engaging with followers
- Conduct market research to support marketing efforts, including analyzing competitor activity and identifying new opportunities for growth
- Assist in developing and implementing email marketing campaigns
- Collaborate with other teams within the company to support the successful delivery of projects

Internship Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, public relations, tourism, sustainability or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience creating content for social media platforms
- Familiarity with social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or Buffer
- Basic understanding of email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or Constant Contact
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Comfortable with remote work and virtual communication tools
- Passion for community development and creating positive social impact
