We are an early-stage start-up based in the UK, we are on a mission to make renting homes more transparent. We want to create a place where prospective renters can find the most trusted source of property information online can find their perfect home. It’s a fact, that many people find moving between rental accommodation incredibly stressful, much of which is fuelled by the anxiety about what living in a specific home or area will actually be like. It is our mission to remove this anxiety and help prospective renters know what it will be like to live in a place before they actually sign for the tenancy.

Internship Description:
Possible tasks and projects include:
Join our customer success team, focussing on up-selling our non-core renting product to our students and young professional users. Your primary focus will be on our bills product, a packaged utility set up and management product that helps house sharers split out their household bills in harmony without any monthly augments. You will be responsible for engaging with our users that have already expressed an interest.
- Assisting with inbound sales – as we have a high volume of customers coming through
- Outbound communication to new potential customers that have enquired about our services (calls, emails, and IM) to support growing the sales pipeline.
- Work closely with the marketing team to continually feedback recommendations about how we can better target our audience and improve customer acquisition rates.
- Monitor live chat inbound inquiries and use it to sell our services to customers.
- Uncover customer concerns and understand their queries so you can suitably service their needs.
- Articulate our key value propositions to our customers.
- In addition, possibly help with B2B outbounds sales – speaking to letting agents and landlords to encourage them to join the platform.
N.B. tasks and projects may vary depending on current priorities. Specific projects and responsibilities will be discussed during an interview.
Internship Requirements:
You will need to be ambitious, driven, and love conversing. You must enjoy passionately selling and get a buzz out of helping customers. All customers will have already been through our website quotation system and therefore there will be no cold calling to unexpecting prospects. You will work in a target-driven environment and will be able to react positively to this to create a fun but competitive atmosphere with your peers. We are a high-energy company that is aiming for explosive growth at all costs and you need to fit with that culture.
- Exemplary communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Previous experience in sales or promotional activity would be helpful
- Enthusiasm, passion, and ambition are must-haves
- Experience using a CRM system to manage sales prospects (ideally Hubspot CRM) is preferred
