They are also a leading provider of GWO Blade Repair training for rotor blade inspection and repair services. Their unique hands-on courses are backed by over 10 years of experience in the wind industry, and run by expert technicians and engineers at training centers in London, Cape Town, and Melbourne.

Skilled rotor blade technicians are in high demand as the wind industry continues to expand, and must operate to a recognized standard.

Role:

International Business Development Intern

Internship Description:

Their training courses at the academy and the sale and lease of their specialist rope-access technologies and platforms have a growing customer base in South Africa, Australia, and elsewhere.

As they expand these aspects of the business, they are keen to have the help of interns for:

  • Coordinating with the Global head of Sales team to prepare quotes, contracts, and purchase orders
  • Maintaining and updating sales database and records
  • Responding to customer inquiries and providing customer service support
  • Liaising with the finance department to ensure timely invoicing and payment collection
  • Conducting market research and analysis to identify potential opportunities and challenges to entering new international markets
  • Providing guidance and support to sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment with international business goals
  • Coordinating the distribution and hiring of equipment to various locations
  • Managing inventory levels and ensuring adequate stock availability

N.B. tasks and projects may vary depending on current priorities. Specific projects and responsibilities will be discussed during an interview.

Internship Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite & CRM
  • Attention to detail
  • Possessing basic inventory management skills:
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Having a strong work ethic and being willing to take initiative and responsibility for tasks assigned to them.
  • Interest in renewable energy
