Role: Business-to-Government Relations Intern
Internship Description:
The successful Business to Government Relations Intern will provide support to our experienced team across a range of important tasks and projects, which may include:
- Contributing to international development initiatives, thereby gaining exposure to impactful global projects.
- Monitoring policy developments to ensure our clientele remains well-informed and strategically positioned.
- Tracking press coverage to analyse public discourse and identify pertinent trends.
- Assisting in the monitoring of tender opportunities to support organisational growth.
- Conducting detailed policy research to underpin our advisory services and client strategies.
- Contributing to the creation of blog content to disseminate our expertise and insights.
- Providing support in client account management, fostering effective professional relationships.
- Undertaking market research to identify emerging opportunities and inform strategic planning processes.
- Preparing accurate and timely meeting documentation.
- Assisting in the organisation of professional seminars and events.
- Providing essential office administration support to ensure efficient operational functionality.

Requirements:
Essential:
- Demonstrated proficiency in the English language, both in oral and written communication.
- Competent utilisation of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A confident and articulate communicator.
- Well-developed research acumen.
- A collaborative and effective team member.
- Effective time management skills and the capacity to prioritise tasks judiciously.
- A demonstrable interest in the fields of communications, public and government affairs, and political processes.
Desirable:
- Some familiarity with the education sector.
- Proficiency in German, Italian, and French is highly advantageous, although other languages are also valued.
- Prior experience in public/government affairs or lobbying, acquired within a Member of Parliament’s office, a political party, an agency, or an in-house setting.
- An understanding of European political systems.
