Internship Description:
The host organisation are looking for an intern who can;
This internship project aims to investigate the major mechanisms involved in the focused ultrasound (FUS) therapy, such as nonlinear acoustic wave propagation, heat transfer in the tissue, temperature measurement, and acoustic cavitation, and FUS-induced bioeffects, such as the generation of thermal necrosis, soft tissue disintegration, vessel occlusion, and blood barrier opening.
Activities are not limited to the above, and candidates are encouraged to discuss further their own abilities and interests in an interview to identify synergies.
Requirements:
- Background in physics, biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science and engineering (especially artificial intelligence)
- Excellent skills in designing and carrying out the experiment, data analysis, establishment of physical model, numerical simulation
- Team communication as well as multidisciplinary knowledge integration
- Strong English language skills
