Role:
Fundraising Specialist Intern
Internship Description:
- Develop a compelling story about Alimaan Online’s mission, vision, and impact, which will resonate with potential donors and encourage them to contribute
- Help identify and segment potential donors based on demographics, interests, and behaviors, and tailor the messaging accordingly
- Create a comprehensive marketing plan that includes social media, email, and content marketing strategies to promote the crowdfunding campaign and reach a wider audience.
- Create visually appealing graphics, videos, and other multimedia content that will help communicate Alimaan Online’s message and encourage donations.
- Manage Alimaan Online’s social media platforms, create engaging content, and engage with potential donors to build relationships and increase donations.
N.B. tasks and projects may vary depending on current priorities. Specific projects and responsibilities will be discussed during an interview.
Internship Requirements:
- A solid understanding of fundraising principles, strategies, and best practices, particularly in the context of crowdfunding campaigns.
- An interest in Alimaan Online’s mission and vision, and the platform’s growth and impact in the world of Quranic education.
- A strong background in marketing and branding, with the ability to craft a compelling narrative and create engaging visual assets that effectively communicate Alimaan Online’s mission, vision, and impact.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, engage with potential donors, and provide customer service that fosters a positive experience and encourages repeat donations.
- Experience managing social media platforms, with the ability to create and implement social media marketing strategies that effectively promote the crowdfunding campaign and reach a wider audience.
- Technical skills, including proficiency in using crowdfunding platforms, social media management tools, and data analysis software.
