Marketing Intern

Internship Description:

  • Content Creation:
    • Develop and publish blog posts, guides, and articles tailored to the interests and needs of our target audience.
    • Create evergreen content that can be repurposed and reused to address common queries and concerns within online communities and groups.
    • Conduct research to gather insights and information necessary for creating high-quality content.
  • Content Development for the Company and Community:
    • Generate content that is relevant to the company’s services and the diverse communities we serve
    • Collaborate with team members to identify content gaps and opportunities for addressing the specific needs of our audience segments.
    • Collaboration with Digital Marketing Team
    • Work closely with the digital marketing team to refine content strategies and ensure alignment with broader marketing objectives
    • Assist in editing and optimizing content for various digital platforms, including our website, social media channels, and email campaigns.
  • Content Schedule Management:
    • Organize and manage the launch schedule for all content initiatives, ensuring timely publication and maximum impact.
    • Coordinate with team members to maintain an editorial calendar and track content performance metrics.
  • Support for Advisor Marketing Initiatives:
    • Provide assistance and support to our team of advisors in implementing their individual marketing initiatives.
    • Collaborate with advisors to understand their marketing needs and help develop content assets that align with their goals.

N.B. tasks and projects may vary depending on current priorities. Specific projects and responsibilities will be discussed during an interview.

Internship Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to craft clear, compelling, and engaging content for various audiences and channels.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing principles and best practices, including SEO, content optimization, and social media marketing.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and a desire to contribute fresh ideas to our content strategy.
  • Basic knowledge of Facebook Business Manager, Google Analytics, and Google ads.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) is a plus.
  • Prior experience in content creation, blogging, or digital marketing is preferred but not required.
