About Pagoda Projects

Pagoda Projects is a leading provider of internships and sustainable global experiences. We work with universities and companies around the world to provide quality internships that enhance students’ international employability.

Programme Details

If working from home is the new normal, our online programmes are an innovative and pragmatic alternative to in-person internships.
A truly international experience, with zero travel. How it works:

  • Students work remotely on industry research projects
  • Over 500 global internships available in 40+ sectors
  • Online skills courses to improve competency and confidence
  • Weekly check-ins, careers coaching and personalised support
  • Cultural mentors to improve intercultural communication
  • Live online events, webinars and networking opportunities

We work with hundreds of companies around the world, from big crypto consultancies to sustainability start-ups. All are vetted to the highest standards to ensure they can provide consistently high-quality online internships, at the right academic level.

Our online programmes provide you with key industry, digital and communication skills needed to succeed in any remote workplace. You’ll attend meetings remotely, work with industry-specific software, and use what you’ve learnt at university to make decisions that have a real impact. Structured learning, personal development plans and networking opportunities will provide you with a well-rounded experience, geared towards improving your international employability. We measure this success against eight core competency improvements.

Alongside your internship, you’ll have opportunities to boost your personal and professional development by taking part in online events, drop-in sessions, webinars and workshops. This year’s events include careers drop-ins, networking workshops, Mindset Training, and webinars on productivity and accessing the ‘hidden’ job market.

A unique way to share cultures

As part of this programme, you’ll be paired with a cultural mentor from one of our amazing in-country destinations. Your mentor will check in regularly and provide current topics for you both to discuss. This improves your intercultural awareness and cross-communication skills, which are integral for working in a global organisation.

Maximising your exposure to different cultures will make you feel comfortable when collaborating with future colleagues and external partners. It will also bridge barriers and connect you with other students or graduates around the world.

The Online Skills Courses

Our online skills courses focus on Employability, Digital Competency and Intercultural Fluency. They’ll provide you with the skills and agility needed for a global and ever-changing workplace. Upon completion, you’ll receive a certificate to keep, post on LinkedIn and show to future employers.
