The role of a remote intern in our company will give you a close insight of our leading remote internship programme, assisting with the planning of ongoing employability sessions and internships programmes in collaboration with our several destinations around the world!

The remote summer internship role we’re recruiting for are full-time positions, Monday-Friday each week and focused on supporting the team as Pagoda Projects deliver a remote internship programme for our university and government partners!

We are a relatively small and family-run business, so you will be welcomed as part of the family and able to enjoy a friendly working atmosphere. The internships we offer have variety of duties, but each role is tailored to every candidate and their skills.

We have 5 main areas of the internship that we’ll ask you throughout the application process of what you’re interested in. These are: sales, business development, marketing, events management, and design. A summary of the duties can be found in the internship description below.

Internship Description:

  • Participant data management and general administration tasks.
  • Editing, Photoshop design for a multitude of different purposes with in-house training available.
  • Create press releases and articles, then aim to get them published for press exposure
  • Assisting our online marketing team by posting internship positions on relevant job boards and university careers pages.
  • Blog writing, posting on social networks and contributing to relevant online forums.
  • Email newsletter creation using Mailchimp and photoshop.
  • Assist with the coordination of our alumni network, gather feedback, and create relevant statistics for marketing purposes.
  • Assisting with general administration, answering participant questions, and working through on-going group projects and scholarship schemes.
  • Business development research projects for our different branches.

Requirements:

  • Student or recent graduate
  • Fluent in English. Another European language would be a plus but not a must.
  • Students on business, language or Chinese/Spanish/Vietnamese Studies related degree programs are preferred, but applicants with any degree program will be considered.
  • Tech savvy. Able to use office software effectively.
  • Familiar with all main social networking sites.

  • Visas and Com¬≠pli¬≠ance – Help to ensure all doc¬≠u¬≠ment¬≠a¬≠tion and due dili¬≠gence checks are com¬≠plete for par¬≠ti¬≠cipants and take an act¬≠ive lead on visa admin¬≠is¬≠tra¬≠tion in com¬≠pli¬≠ance with local rules and reg¬≠u¬≠la¬≠tions.
  • Par¬≠ti¬≠cipant Man¬≠age¬≠ment & Sup¬≠port – Take over¬≠all charge of the deliv¬≠ery of pro¬≠grammes “on the ground” over¬≠see¬≠ing the suc¬≠cess of each par¬≠ti¬≠cipant’s pro¬≠gress on a Pagoda Pro¬≠gramme. This will involve deal¬≠ing with ad-hoc issues, provid¬≠ing sup¬≠port, whilst ensur¬≠ing that an inclus¬≠ive, safe, and enjoy¬≠able pro¬≠gramme is exper¬≠i¬≠enced by all.
  • Accom¬≠mod¬≠a¬≠tion Man¬≠age¬≠ment – Source, book and man¬≠age accom¬≠mod¬≠a¬≠tion for all par¬≠ti¬≠cipants – ensure qual¬≠ity is main¬≠tained, any issues resolved and requests are handled timely and clearly com¬≠mu¬≠nic¬≠ated intern¬≠ally and extern¬≠ally if brought to your atten¬≠tion.
  • Air¬≠port Pickups and Com¬≠pany Drop Offs – Man¬≠age timelines and trans¬≠port¬≠a¬≠tion, com¬≠mu¬≠nic¬≠ate pro¬≠cesses and ensure that these pro¬≠gramme ele¬≠ments are organ¬≠ised in line with health and safety pro¬≠to¬≠cols and com¬≠pany expect¬≠a¬≠tions.
  • Busi¬≠ness Devel¬≠op¬≠ment – Develop and grow your per¬≠sonal net¬≠work, rep¬≠res¬≠ent Pagoda in your city, and look to bring on new host com¬≠pan¬≠ies and part¬≠ners.

  • Fol¬≠low up reg¬≠u¬≠larly to provide updates on issues, and pro¬≠act¬≠ively try to solve these whenever pos¬≠sible.
  • Clearly doc¬≠u¬≠ment all issues which require your sig¬≠ni¬≠fic¬≠ant atten¬≠tion to ensure to escal¬≠ate for feed¬≠back any issues to the Deliv¬≠ery Team Leader and other senior man¬≠agers as required.
  • Be pre¬≠pared to respond to emer¬≠gen¬≠cies, as well as any par¬≠ti¬≠cipant check-in data which is raised by our cent¬≠ral team as cause for con¬≠cern.
  • Fully sup¬≠port other team mem¬≠bers ensur¬≠ing you work as a team to deliver excel¬≠lent pro¬≠grammes at a scale that exceeds the expect¬≠a¬≠tions of our part¬≠ners.

We are looking for great communicator to join our friendly international team in the UK.

Senior Admissions Associate Responsibilities:

  • Lead the UK administration of our Bookings and Placements team.
  • Manage the processing of all students applying for our global internships as part of our UK partner university and government partner programmes.
  • Liaise with Pagoda’s university and government partners to provide regular updates on student applications and internship progress.
  • Support the ongoing administrative requirements of our UK university partners to maintain accurate records, determine student eligibility, track ongoing funding, health & safety and ensure compliance.
  • Take the lead on preparing and managing application windows.
  • Oversee key milestones, ensure deadlines are managed and mitigating action is taken where required by the wider business.
  • Ensure that students are receiving the appropriate instructions and provided with all necessary support to successfully complete the internship application process.
  • Prepare and deliver student-facing promotional sessions to encourage programme engagement from students, where required.
  • Liaise with programme delivery team to track students’ progress and communicate general progress, raise individual challenges and success stories to university partners where necessary.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure our marketing and bookings strategies are accurate and aligned.
  • Report bookings performance updates to the Pagoda Projects management team on a regular basis
  • Provide training and guidance to bookings administrators.
  • Conduct phone interviews and respond to student applications/enquiries as part of the bookings team.
