Having delivered Global Experience in Vietnam since 2019, we are bringing it to Thailand!
- Explore a new country and culture. Develop your intercultural fluency whilst making friends, connections and having fun.
- Grow you international network. Make connections with your peers, local professionals and university alumni.
- Upskill in key transferable skills such as leadership, communication, teamwork and problem solving; making you a well-rounded, more employable graduate.

Application Process
The application process is as easy as 1, 2, 3…
1. APPLY TO YOUR UNIVERSITY
Apply to your university via this link. Applications open from 5th November 2024 – 31st December 2024. Your university who will check your eligibility, confirm the funding available for you and if you are selected for the programme.
2. APPLICATION FORM & AGREEMENT
Once your university confirms that you are selected onto the programme, you’ll complete Pagoda’s application form, sign our programme agreement, pay your refundable deposit to secure your place.
3. ONBOARDING
Following signing their programme agreement, successful candidates will be informed of the next steps for programme onboarding, and supported through the necessary pre-departure steps.
Please make sure you understand what university funding is available to cover your programme fee and other costs and ensure you know exactly what costs you need to fund yourself.
Pagoda Portal
All programmes are managed on the Pagoda Portal - a digital hub for our student community. This is where you can track your progress, register for events, access skills courses, network with other participants and request additional support.

Funding & Eligibility
Eligibility
- Widening Participation Students (please see University of Liverpool website for the criteria) only will be eligible for this programme
- Students in any year are eligible to apply
- Any student on any Allied Health Professional course should speak with their programme lead and GOAA Amanda Deaves before applying to ensure it will not clash with any placements or course requirements
- Students must pass the 2024/25 academic year (students with accepted Extenuating Circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis)
- If a student withdraws from study or suspends studies they will not be eligible for the programme
Funding
Widening Participation Students
University of Liverpool will pay part of the programme fee to Pagoda and students will be required to pay a contribution to the programme fee to Pagoda
Students will also receive from their university £300 Cost of Living allowance and up to £905 Travel Grant (based on receipted expenditure)
All students will also be required to pay a £50 refundable deposit which will be returned within 6 weeks of completion of the programme
