Role:

Web Developer Intern

Internship Description:

• Design and develop a user-friendly and visually appealing website using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (or a relevant framework).
• Implement responsive design principles to ensure optimal viewing experience across various devices (desktop, mobile, tablet).
• Integrate content management system (CMS) for easy content creation and editing by non-technical users.
• Optimize website for search engines (SEO) to improve organic traffic.
• Implement basic website analytics to track user behavior and website performance.
• Ensure website accessibility according to WCAG guidelines.
• Perform unit testing and ensure website functionality.

N.B. tasks and projects may vary depending on current priorities. Specific projects and responsibilities will be discussed during an interview.

Internship Requirements:

• Have hands-on experience in web development especially with Wix.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (or a relevant framework like React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Experience with a content management system (CMS) like WordPress or Drupal (a plus).
• Experience with responsive web design principles.
• Experience with basic SEO best practices.
• Familiarity with web accessibility guidelines (WCAG) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Passion for creating user-friendly and visually appealing websites.
• Ability to work independently and constructively as a team to achieve a goal.
