Projects Intern
Internship Description:
- AI Application Development:
- Assist in developing and customizing AI applications as per the AI Academy curriculum.
- Engage in coding, testing, and deploying AI solutions focused on educational effectiveness and operational efficiency.
- Project Management:
- Collaborate with AI Academy tech teams and Pagoda Projects to manage timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Ensure projects align with the educational and technical specifications of the AI Academy.
- Innovation and Research:
- Conduct research on new AI technologies and educational tools to enhance learning experiences.
- Innovate and improve current AI Academy projects.
- Training and Workshops:
- Participate in and possibly lead AI training sessions and workshops, emphasizing practical application and hands-on learning.
- Community Engagement:
- Work on AI solutions for local NGOs or educational institutions, enhancing community interaction and support.
- Document and share project impacts and outcomes within the AI Academy community.
- Project Focus:
- Focus on developing and implementing AI-driven educational tools and platforms that support the AI Academy’s mission to provide practical, technology-oriented education.
- Contribute to projects that use AI to solve real problems for community organizations, fostering a blend of technical proficiency and social responsibility.
N.B. tasks and projects may vary depending on current priorities. Specific projects and responsibilities will be discussed during an interview.
Internship Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Education Technology, or a related field.
- Possess a strong understanding of programming fundamentals (e.g., Python, Java, or similar) and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Demonstrate basic project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Be curious and possess a strong research aptitude, always seeking opportunities to learn about new AI technologies and educational tools.
- Develop your communication skills to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. You’ll also be comfortable presenting and leading workshops.
- Be passionate about using technology for social good and eager to contribute to projects that benefit the community.
