This NGO is a not for profit organization that aids rural children and disadvantaged women through educational, vocational, and mental health support programmes.

Role:

English Teaching Intern at a Prominent NGO for Women and Minors

Internship Description:

– Develop and deliver engaging and interactive English lessons for students from diverse backgrounds.

– Create and adapt lesson plans to cater to different learning styles and abilities.

– Utilise various teaching methodologies, including games, activities, and technology, to promote effective learning.

– Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their individual needs.

– Collaborate with experienced teachers and staff to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment.

– Participate in professional development opportunities as offered.

– May assist with other administrative tasks related to the English language programme

Internship Requirements:

– Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.

– Passion for teaching and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

– Experience working with children or adults in a learning environment (preferred).

– Ability to develop engaging and creative lesson plans.

– Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

– Adaptability, flexibility, and a willingness to learn.

– Commitment to cultural sensitivity and respect for diversity.
