This host company is an international organization that supports clean energy & climate entrepreneurs with funds, business acceleration and access to networks. They operate programs in the USA, Australia, China, India, Uganda, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and Philippines. The company is building an ecosystem of clean energy entrepreneurs working on solutions to address increasing energy demand and climate change.
Role:
PR Communication & Program Design Intern
Internship Description:
Possible tasks and projects include:
- Develop and execute social media communication strategies that raise the profile of the company and their impact
- Design media content plan and social media strategy, update news content to build the company’s social presence
- Coordinate and manage interviews and media for staff and portfolio company executives
- Monitor and track media coverage and report on the impact PR efforts
- Support in the planning, design and implementation of business incubation and acceleration programs in supporting energy entrepreneurship in Thailand, 2 current incubation and accelerator programs
- Organize events, workshops, trainings, boot-camps on clean energy & innovation
- Facilitate speakers and startups for in person workshops and bootcamps
N.B. tasks and projects may vary depending on current priorities. Specific projects and responsibilities will be discussed during an interview.
Internship Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field (is a plus)
- Experience in PR or communications, preferably in the clean energy sector (is a plus).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write and edit content for various channels and audiences.
- Professional fluency in English is a must*
- Strong media relations skills, with a proven track record of securing media coverage
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and media monitoring tools
- Understanding of social media and digital marketing strategies
- Passion for clean energy and sustainability
