Internship Description
● Market research using several tools (specialize platform, email, phone call) in order to have a better view on the Plastic market (mainly price wise)
● Research potential vendors
● Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers – Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
● Track orders and ensure timely delivery
● Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
● Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
Requirements
● Student in international business
● Proficient in English both writing and reading, other languages (speaking Japanese is a plus)
● Proficient with Microsoft office
● Entrepreneurship mindset since that it is a SME
● Motivated and eager to learn
● Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
● Understanding of supply chain procedures
● Negotiation skills
