Education Assistant
Internship Description:
- provide in-class support to Chinese English teachers
- assist with English pronunciation training
- assist with lesson preparation
- create learning materials PPT and templates for activities
- conduct online research on relevant topics
- review class materials with local and Chinese volunteers and teachers
- evaluate lessons’ and activities’ results
- learn about management of a Chinese NGO
Internship Requirements:
- Fluent in English with good English pronunciation skills
- English as native language not mandatory but preferred
- Interest in high-school classroom education
- interest in charity and NGO work
- Need not have classroom teaching experience but must enjoy working with teenagers and possess a passion for giving back to the local community
- Empathy to work with teenagers from various social economic backgrounds and
disadvantaged families
