Company Introduction
This is a Vietnamese online newspaper, run by the largest information technology company in Vietnam, and had its first run in February 2001. It is the first online newspaper in Vietnam to be published entirely on the web without the traditional version on paper. It has the highest ranking among other e-newspapers in Vietnam on Alexa.com, number 11, only after Yahoo, Google and Google Vietnam. Whilst the predominant content is in Vietnamese they also have a English language section which focuses the content on articles most relative to the international market in Saigon. Articles read from news, politics, sport etc. to travel and entertainment.
Internship Position
English Content Writer
Internship Description
During this internship you be working alongside the English content team creating articles for this end of the website. You will be expected to research and write articles in the style that suits the aesthetics of the work as well as the company. The intern will have quite independent choice on what they choose to write about based on their interests and will be expected to drive their articles forward independently to the editorial phase. If the intern has an interest in videography and photography, then there will also potentially be an opportunity to be involved in this side of journalism.
