This Internship Host Company is a Legal Firm that deal with cases mostly relating to marginalised groups such as Child Rights, Senior Citizens, cases relating to the Mental Health Act, victims of Gender Inequality and other such subgroups. They specialise in the wide spectrum of Criminal & Civil law practice and Procedures & Child Rights Advocacy.
They deal with a variety of such cases in the abovementioned sphere across courts of all hierarchy within the Indian Jurisdiction.
They work on basis of extensive research from all possible sources and by way of ascertaining various perspectives.

Legal Research Internship
Internship Description:
This Internship is not limited to what is listed below, and all applicants are encouraged to discuss at an interview stage what they would be able to work on.
This internship position will require candidates to conduct legal research from various sources relevant to ongoing cases that the Law Firm is working on, the Host Company mainly deals with cases linked to; Child Rights, Criminal Justice, Mental Health, and other related areas, tasks include;
- Legal research
- Completing case studies
- Report writing
- Assistance in drafting legal pleadings
- Assisting in the preparation of case notes and discussions
- Additional supplementary tasks as required
N.B. tasks and projects may vary depending on current priorities. Specific projects and responsibilities will be discussed during an interview.
Internship Requirements:
- Candidate from a legal background with interest in human rights
- Strong English language skills
- Patience, willingness to read, complete research, and acquire new knowledge
- Diligent, self-motivated work attitude
