Internship Position:
Front Office Internship
Internship Description:
- Plan and co-ordinate the provision of friendly, efficient services to all guests
- Plan and co-ordinate all promotional activities targeting guests
- Trace relevant statistics/ guest profile for preference
- Assist with check-ins/check-outs
- Greet guests upon arrival
- Assist with translations (information; guest directory; menus etc)
- Provide feedback from Japanese Guests to Front Office Manager for action
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management, Tourism Management or a related field is required.
This job requires the ability to perform the following:
- Excellent interpersonal and intrapersonal communication skills
- Excellent command of English is a must
- Japanese or Korean is a plus
- Be willing to provide good service to the guests
- Problem solving, reading, motivation, organisational and training abilities
- Food & beverage service experience is preferred
- For face to face guest service experience, Opera system ability is preferred
- At times required to work nights, weekends and/or holidays
