European Sales Intern
Internship Description:
The host company is looking for an enthusiastic, driven, top performer to join a fast-paced, high-performing team of Sales Development Representatives (SDR).
The SDR plays a critical role in growing the business at the host company, as an intern you will be the first point of contact with potential clients and set the tone for client experience. Your main focus will be outbound prospecting to generate new and qualified leads, as well as prospect follow-up for the Business Team.
Possible tasks and projects include:
- Partner with the Sales/Business Team to create an outbound prospecting strategy, as well as to fill and maintain a healthy pipeline of leads
- Search for a minimum of 100 Business leads weekly
- Meet and exceed monthly quotas of qualified opportunities and new business leads
- Create a great first impression on their prospective client by providing them with a meaningful experience and overview of their value
- Gain in-depth knowledge of all things about the company to educate potential clients on the value of their products
- Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative & compelling follow-ups
N.B. tasks and projects may vary depending on current priorities. Specific projects and responsibilities will be discussed during an interview.
Internship Requirements:
- Prior experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management
- Excellent presentation and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Prior experience in the startup industry in value add
- Good communication in English
