We are a Berlin-based non-profit organisation, our aim is to bridge cultures, societies & businesses for young pioneers between Europe and China.
Why is there no platform between Europe and China for the next generation? This is the question that caused us to launch our project. We are creating a platform that addresses the needs of the next generation. Together, we want to unite young pioneers in Europe and in China to help and learn from each other. Our cross-cultural community includes entrepreneurs and business leaders, scientists, up-and-comers and politicians. We focus on positive change, with a focus on urgent and important issues, to promote a better tomorrow between Europe and China.

Internship Description:
Overview of the tasks/topics you will work on during the internship:
- You engage and develop the by enrolling members into our China-based community
- You will work on the product definition & innovation (understanding needs of potential members from China, double diamond process)
- You support our team on Marketing & Partnerships management (e.g. research, collaboration options/strategies, stakeholder management/communication)
- You research & build surveys as well as reports for the YiLu Think Tank:
- Focus on interests and needs for European & Chinese exchange
- You will become part of the regular (weekly) Think Tank meetings and will become an integral part of the team
- You have the opportunity to host community events (e.g. speaker sessions, open mic nights, networking)
- You take part in recurring overall meetings (several times per week)
- You become part of the mentor club and work on its development & improvement (you will also receive a EU mentor + buddy)
After the internship:
- You will have learned how to setup a new project, analysing a problem-space and come up with solutions in e.g. marketing, product development, community setup
- You will have had a good overview over organization of and work within a European-Chinese entity
- You will have engaged with various stakeholders inside and outside the organisation and learned how to work with them within a remote setup
- You will have received valuable mentoring as well as hands-on experience with the founding team
- You will have worked on EU-China relevant research topics
Internship Requirements:
- Speak fluent English
- Those who speak Chinese (Mandarin especially) would be a great plus
- Have good people skills and are interested in International Relations
- Any experience with digital marketing, research communications would be helpful
