Game Design Engineering Intern
Internship Description:
- Design and develop a user-friendly and visually appealing website using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (or a relevant framework).
- Implement responsive design principles to ensure optimal viewing experience across various devices (desktop, mobile, tablet).
- Integrate content management system (CMS) for easy content creation and editing by non-technical users.
- Optimize website for search engines (SEO) to improve organic traffic.
- Implement basic website analytics to track user behavior and website performance.
- Ensure website accessibility according to WCAG guidelines.
- Perform unit testing and ensure website functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website bugs and issues.
N.B. tasks and projects may vary depending on current priorities. Specific projects and responsibilities will be discussed during an interview.
Internship Requirements:
- Strong understanding of 3D game development concepts.
- Proficiency in a popular game development engine like Unity, Unreal Engine, or Construct3.
- Experience with C# or C++ programming (experience with one is sufficient).
- Basic understanding of mobile game development best practices.
- Understanding of gamification elements that make games interesting to play.
- Ability to leverage social media to promote concepts and ideas.
- Experience and know-how in publishing/advertising on Kickstarter or Indiegogo.
- Ability to work independently and constructively as a team to achieve a goal.
- Ability to think and propose ideas with practical, actionable steps.
- Must have the “find ways and get it done” attitude.
- Imaginative and self driven.
