Internship Description:
We are seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as an ESG Analyst Intern. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of sustainable investing and corporate responsibility. The ESG Analyst Intern will work closely with our ESG team to support various initiatives aimed at integrating ESG factors into investment decision-making and corporate strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis on environmental, social, and governance issues relevant to our investment portfolio.
- Assist in the collection and analysis of ESG data from various sources, including company reports, databases, and third-party providers.
- Participate in the assessment of companies’ ESG performance and alignment with industry best practices and standards.
- Help prepare ESG reports, presentations, and other communications materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the development and implementation of ESG strategies and initiatives across different asset classes.
- Stay informed about emerging trends, regulations, and frameworks in the field of sustainable investing and ESG integration.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to promote ESG awareness and integration throughout the organization.
Internship Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program, preferably in sustainability management, energy modernization, decarbonization related technology, finance, economics, environmental studies, social sciences, or a related field.
- Strong interest in the Net Zero transition, sustainable investing, corporate sustainability, and ESG issues.
- Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and synthesize complex information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly and concisely as well as simplify to build ESG awareness.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Prior internship or coursework related to ESG, sustainability, finance, or investment analysis is a plus.
