Organisation Description:
The host company is a one-stop platform for advice on halal investments, insurance, banking, and more in Singapore. It aims to address the local Muslim community’s Islamic finance and investment-related needs by combining efforts and strength. They started as a WhatsApp group of a few finance professionals in late 2018. Since then, it has grown to more than 200 finance professionals, students, and scholars, created its content on FB, IG, and YT, and organized several webinars for the community.
Role:
Islamic Finance Intern
Internship Description:
- Analysis of Islamic Finance investments and products in Singapore
- Structuring of Islamic Finance products
- Training materials on Islamic Finance
- Fund management proposal and creation
N.B. tasks and projects may vary depending on current priorities. Specific projects and responsibilities will be discussed during an interview.
Internship Requirements:
- Preferably with knowledge of Islamic Finance and Finance
- Adapt to using Google suite of products, WordPress, Canva
- Experience with finance products
- Preferably with other internship experience
