As a Data Science Intern, you will have the opportunity to shadow a Graduate Data Scientist, immersing yourself in the daily tasks crucial for our mission. This role promises a comprehensive learning journey, spanning from data preparation to advanced analytics. Your key responsibilities include:
- Extracting insights from client data, enriching our understanding of pollinator trends and their ecological impact.
- Testing and evaluating algorithms to aid in the development of tools for species differentiation and activity monitoring.
- Ensuring data quality by meticulously cleaning and preparing spreadsheets for insightful analysis.
- Assisting in the field validation of our devices, providing a unique opportunity to bridge data science with real-world ecological monitoring.
- A standout feature of your internship will involve undertaking a project aligned with one of the following disciplines:
- Data Analysis and Presentation:
- Innovating new storytelling methods with client data, utilising AI to craft compelling narratives through data analytics and visuals that illuminate our research discoveries.
