- Eight-week full-time internships in your chosen field.
- Over 1,000+ internships with host companies in 45+ sectors
- Intern in-person in Shanghai or another Chinese city where you may be based
- Intern online for an international company
- Internships tend to be unpaid
- Although Pagoda have excellent sector coverage, some specific sectors may be unavailable
- Internship places are subject to a competitive application process

The application process is as easy as 1,2,3…
1. SUBMIT YOUR 2-MIN APPLICATION
Record a quick video so we can assess your application as part of our selection process. Once submitted, we’ll be in touch within 24 hours.
2. INTERNSHIP SELECTION
If selected, our friendly team will be in contact to discuss your preferences, find the most suitable options and coach you through the interviewing process with your chosen host companies. All internships are listed on our website.
3. ONBOARDING
You’ve confirmed your internship – congratulations! You’ll gain access to the Pagoda Portal to start your onboarding and we’ll organise a live information session with you to answer any questions.

An internship is the best way to gain exposure in your chosen field – but this is way more than work experience. Our in-person programmes provide you with the opportunity to make a real difference within your chosen company. You’ll work on industry projects and use what you’ve learnt at university to make decisions that have a real impact.
Outside of your internship, you’ll continue your professional development through skills courses, careers coaching and organised talks with industry professionals. Our team will support you to achieve your full potential and organise events, activities and dinners to make you feel at home.
And you won’t be alone! You’ll get to know other students on the programme and spend your free time exploring the city, living and working like a local.

We work with hundreds of fantastic companies around the world, from big crypto consultancies to sustainability start-ups, who are ready and waiting to share their knowledge and show you the ropes. Your internship supervisor will oversee your placement and offer professional support throughout the programme, alongside Pagoda’s friendly in-country team.
