Applying in the UK?

You MUST visit the UK visa centre in Manchester in person to submit your application and leave your finger prints. Due to recent changes in the application process there is no other option for those applying in the UK.

Times and availability for visa centre appointments vary in busy periods, but you will certainly need to be available for an appointment in Manchester roughly 4 weeks before you fly to China.

Applying elsewhere?

For applications outside of the UK, you will need to specify in Step 2 which city, in which country you would prefer to do the application.
