Company Description:

This company is driving the growth of the femtech industry in Asia (Japan and Singapore). They are a marketplace, community builder, regulatory advisor, lobbyist, and an investor group that is focused on helping women and gender minorities seek better options for self-care. There are many groundbreaking products and services gradually becoming available throughout the world, but the company sees information, regulatory, and cultural gaps that have barred women in Asia from accessing these tools. This company seeks to bridge that gap by providing two platforms that are interconnected: a user platform where femtech solutions and related information are available, and also a corporate platform where gender-focused companies can learn ways to enter into the Asian markets.

The company was established in July 2020 in Singapore as the first overseas branch of the Japan main office. The online store was launched at the end of October 2020. There are a total 4 members and they are based in Singapore, Thailand, and Japan.

Internship Position:

Marketing and PR

Internship Description:

  • Create e-commerce store contents (product guide, blog, & page designs to increase views)
  • Create advertising materials and product videos
  • Community building (FB, events, seminars)
  • Social networking marketing, content & design creations (Instagram, Facebook, & IG/FB Live)
  • Assist with e-commerce store campaign, including analysis and review
  • Other ad hoc marketing and PR tasks

Internship Requirements:

  • Strong interest and motivation to learn about the Femtech industry and related products
  • Work proactively, independently (as full remote work is expected) and willingly communicate with team
  • Marketing and e-commerce experience or knowledge is preferable but not mandatory
  • Japanese language skill is preferable to communicate with the Japan team, but not mandatory
  • Tasks are done in English
  • Leadership skill to expand community group or conduct online events
  • Duration: preferably around 12 weeks
