Role:
Finance and General Business Intern
Internship Description:
- Creating reports, summaries, and research
- Following market trends and keeping up to date on industry and regulation changes
- Assisting leadership with their decision-making processes by providing strategic recommendations and supporting data analysis
- Financial modeling and projection
- Assistance may be required in the preparation of financial reports by collaborating with an outsourced accountant
Applicants will also be expected to contribute to non-finance tasks and responsibilities including but not limited to general marketing, content creation, and fundraising responsibilities will be part of the internship.
N.B. tasks and projects may vary depending on current priorities. Specific projects and responsibilities will be discussed during an interview.
Internship Requirements:
- Background in Finance or related fields
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Vietnamese language skills are a plus
- Understanding of financial analysis and investment strategy
- Strong mathematical and numerical skills
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and evaluation – the ability to detect trends early
- A team player who can work independently
- A flair for statistics and data manipulation
- Ability to work independently and deliver outcomes
- Organized, precise, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a multicultural environment
- Must have knowledge of the basic principles and practices of accounting and financial analysis
- Must be able to collect, evaluate and interpret data
