Only once you have submitted Step 2 you can begin filling out the official Visa Application Form for China.

Please download the correct application form instructions below according to:
1. your programme destination and 2. where you will submit your visa application.
These are very different instructions so it’s crucial you select the correct instruction guide.

When you have completed the application form online, just download, print out and sign the completed PDF and take note of your Application ID number.

The next step is to book yourself a visa appointment on the Visa For China Website.
Please remember that we need 2 weeks to prepare your visa documents. You should therefore aim to book an appointment 3 weeks after submitting the Step 2 application details form to us.

Once you have booked your visa appointment please email the appointment time to Ali (ali.hashemi@internchina.com).

We will then be able to make sure we have all the documents ready in time for your appointment.

Please carefully read through the application checklist, to find out what you need to take with you on the day.

The Chinese Visa Application Service Centre in Manchester can be found at the following address:
Ground Floor, 71 Mosley Street, Manchester, M2 3HR

Please make sure you stay in contact with Ali in the days leading up to your visa appointment.
Inform Ali of your travel arrangements so she knows when you will be arriving in Manchester.

Make sure you buy a pre-paid, special delivery envelope from the Post Office, fill in your return address and bring that with you to your appointment if you do not want to collect your passport in person from Manchester.

SUBMIT YOUR VISA APPLICATION AND BIOMETRIC DATA

N.B. Please keep the visa collection receipt you are given safe!
Otherwise you will not be allowed to collect your passport from the Chinese Visa Application Service Centre.

Visas processing typically takes between 4 to 6 working days after submission.

You should receive a phone call from the Chinese Visa Application Service Centre a day or two after submitting your application. They will inform you if your visa application has been approved and confirm the date and time when it will be issued.

If you do not collect your visa in person, the centre will post your passport back to you. It should arrive before 1pm the next day and will need to be signed for.
